Our Philosophy

Toward children who are healthy in body and heart. With play at the centre of everything we do, we help each child grow strong roots.

A Message from Our Chairman

If children are to grow into themselves and meet the world with confidence, the “now” they are living has to be full and rich. That belief guides everything we do.

Through abundant nature and through play, we nurture in each child the strength to live well. Together with the children — who carry so many hopes — and with their families, we want to sweat together, laugh together and cry together. That is the spirit in which we meet the children each day.

Our Approach

The five ideas at the heart of what we do

Children looking closely at flowers in the playground1

The child comes first

We stay close to how each child is feeling, and let the children lead.

Children playing freely in the playground2

Play at the centre

Learning lives inside play. We give children experience after experience of being completely absorbed.

At home in nature, learning from nature

Surrounded by rich natural settings, children feel the seasons and come into contact with living things.

Growing body and mind through swimming and gymnastics

Through physical activity we build healthy bodies and the will to see things through.

A child exercising in the hall, watched by parents and teachers5

A close partnership with families

Home and school work hand in hand to support each child’s growth.

Our Goal

“Children who are healthy in body and heart”

Within a balanced upbringing, we nurture these five qualities.

  • A free and cheerful spirit
  • A caring heart
  • Respect for rules
  • Independence
  • A willingness to try
