Who we are admitting (2027 school year)
As a kindergarten-type certified centre, we take children from the year they turn three up to age five.
Age 2 (turning 3 during the year)

Three-year course (age 3)
Born 2 April 2023 – 1 April 2024
Two-year course (age 4)
Born 2 April 2022 – 1 April 2023
One-year course (age 5)
Born 2 April 2021 – 1 April 2022
Typical class sizes (2026): 25–26 children at ages 4–5, 19–20 at age 3, and 10–15 in the two-year-olds’ class.
How to apply

Open day and tours
Every September we hold an open day so you can see an ordinary day at the school. Dates are announced in the news section. Tours are welcome at other times of year too.

Application forms
Application forms are available from 15 October.
- Nov
Applications and interviews
Applications open on 1 November, with an interview for the child and parent at the same time. The application fee is listed under “Fees” below.

Documents handed over
Documents for the start of school are handed over on 29 January and 26 February.
- Mar
Uniform and supplies collected
Uniform and school supplies are handed over on 15 March.

Fees
What you pay when your child starts
- Application fee
- 3,000 yen (payable when you apply)
- Enrolment preparation fee
- 9,000 yen (non-refundable)
- Entrance fee
- 81,000 yen (reduced where two or more children start at the same time)
- Facilities maintenance fee
- 10,000–30,000 yen, depending on the year group
Monthly fees
- Tuition
- Effectively free under Japan’s free early childhood education and care scheme (set by your municipality according to income)
- Education enrichment fee
- 4,000–7,500 yen
- School lunch fee
- 6,000 yen for five days a week / 3,900 yen for three days
- Facilities fee
- 5,000 yen a year plus 4,000 yen a month
- Heating and cooling fee
- 6,000 yen a year
- School bus (optional)
- 5,000 yen a year plus 4,000 yen a month (half price for one-way use; waived in full if you do not use the bus)
All amounts include tax and are those planned for the 2027 school year. They may change. Full details are given at the information session and interview.

With Kinder Class extended care from 7:30 to 18:30, working families are well covered.

School lunch or packed lunch
