Events to look forward to
The events the children look forward to most.

Excursions
The oldest children go on the spring excursion in April, the younger ones in May. In autumn, everyone goes together.
Walking hand in hand is part of the fun. Away from school, it is a special day among the plants and creatures of the season.

Body painting
With plenty of paint on their hands, the children dab it onto their teachers’ and friends’ faces and clothes!
A summer day for enjoying the feel of colour, without worrying about the mess.

Summer festival
In yukata and jinbei, everyone dances to the beat of the drums.
There is shaved ice, superball scooping and draw-your-own senbei crackers to enjoy too.

Sports day
Races, team games, and group gymnastics by the oldest children — everyone gives it everything.
A day for families to see the results of all that practice, and children seeing things through to the end.

Nobinobi performance
On stage, the children put on plays and sing together as a choir.
Standing on a big stage gives the children real confidence.

Christmas party
Father Christmas arrives in the decorated hall.
Singing together to round off the second term.
What our events give the children
Feeling the seasons for themselves
The spring excursion, summer water play, autumn potato digging, the winter performance — the turning year, taken in with all five senses.
Every “I did it!” becomes confidence
Each experience at sports day and the performances builds the will to finish what you start.
Growing up, shared with family
Many of our events are open to families — a chance to share in how your child is growing.
